At Wild Mind Counseling, each of our counselors offers a unique combination of professional training, lived experience, and passion for helping others succeed. Together, we are committed to providing caring, evidence-based, and holistic care that promotes personal growth, emotional wellness, and meaningful connections. Inspired by values of compassion and social justice, we view counseling as both a route to individual healing and a way to build collective resilience and positive change.

My Story

Amidst the uncertainty of life and the events within and without our control, we want the best for ourselves and the people we care about. Sometimes it’s easy to feel helpless, angry, overwhelmed, afraid, or all of the above. But we are not powerless. In our work together, we can strengthen your resilience and self-compassion, remind you of your power and capacity for joy, and build a life that is authentically your own.

I am passionate about working with trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming individuals, and anyone who falls under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. I celebrate neurodivergent folks navigating systems that were not created for them and are often obliged to carve out their own niches in society. I am polyamory and kink-affirming, have worked with people facing chronic pain, disability and alternate ability, and believe in health at every size.

My approach is primarily somatic, as I believe that we are encouraged from a young age to disregard the inherent wisdom we carry in our bodies. I also draw upon evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral skill development, mindful self-compassion, and an existential perspective to deepen our understanding of our place in the world, while simultaneously broadening our ability to manage uncertainty, stress, and emotional pain. I believe that we are equal in the counselor-client relationship; you are an expert on yourself, while my education and experiences have given me roadmaps and information. I view counseling as a collaborative relationship, something we can build together, moving toward the values and goals you choose.
