From a young age, I knew I wanted a career that made a real difference in people’s lives. After discovering that my talent for chatting far outpaced my knack for organic chemistry (I even gave it two tries), I decided to dive into psychology. This choice led me to explore the intersections of neuroscience and counseling, where science meets the art of human connection.

 

I help clients grow by supporting their healthy choices and celebrating milestones that build autonomy, initiative, self-esteem, achievement, and meaningful relationships. My approach is evidence-based and integrative, drawing on tools from cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, alongside person-centered and acceptance-commitment frameworks. Think of it as a well-stocked toolbox for building a better life.

 

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State, with certifications in trauma-focused counseling and advanced career counseling. Additionally, I hold the title of certified transcultural counselor through the International Association for Counseling (IAC). Currently, I’m deep into the adventure of earning my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Antioch University—a journey fueled by equal parts curiosity and coffee.
